Peter Morgan introduced Tansu at QCon London, an open-source, Kafka-compatible, stateless, leaderless broker that scales to zero, with pluggable storage (S3, SQLite, Postgres), broker-side schema validation, and direct writes to Iceberg and Delta Lake.
